I read about it and was intrigued about the simplicity of it without being simple. I learned go a couple of years ago and used it for some of my open source project but I ended up stop using it. It also has the simplicity philosophy but lacks things like generics. This language seem to be quite spot on of its syntax what I like personally. It is still under heavy development but I see great potential when done.

The community is very helpful and I already submitted my first couple of PR:s to help out with the project.

Take it up for a spin but remember it is still rough around its edges. Go to vlang site.

The netdaemon project for Home Assistant are getting closer and closer to beta state. It´s featureset is starting to get more stable. With the new release 0.3.2-alpha Release this is probably the last alpha release before getting into beta-stage. Beta means that the APIs is getting more stable. You still can expect them to change but less likely.

Alot of progress has been made last couple of releases. Mostly is stability and logging managent. I am comitted to make NetDaemon a great developers experience with debugging and finding errors.

If you have not tried it out yet, please checkout the NetDaemon docs to get started!
